Rebel Wilson said the best ever “Pitch Perfect” movie installment will be coming to big screen next year.

After winning the Screen NSW Annette Kellerman Award during the fifth Australians in Film Awards in Los Angeles, California, the 36-year-old actress talked about the ongoing filming of “Pitch Perfect 3.”

“We are organizing what’s going to go into the movie. It’s so cool to be getting back with all the girls again, sing and dance again,” said Wilson, who plays Fat Amy of the Barden Bellas a capella group.

“We are making to make this movie the best one of the franchise,” added Wilson, who were among the Aussie actors working in Hollywood.

Directed by “Step Up All In’s” Trish Sie, “Pitch Perfect 3” is set for release on Dec. 22, 2017 in the United States. The highly anticipated musical film was originally set for release on July 21, 2017 but was delayed after Elizabeth Banks backed out from producing the music-themed franchise.

The first two installments of the “Pitch Perfect” franchise grossed over US$400 million (AU$520 million) in the global box office. “Pitch Perfect 2” alone recorded the highest-grossing movie-musical of all time, earning US$287.5 million (AU$373.75 million) since it opened in theatres in May 2015.

Aside from Wilson and Banks, "Pitch Perfect 3" stars Anna Kendrick and Hailee Steinfeld, among others.
