Raven-Symoné is not joining in the fray of women accusing Bill Cosby of rape and sexual assaults. She reportedly thinks it's disgusting to be dragged into the issue.

Raven-Symoné recently became a victim of a parody Web site called "Hip Hop Hangover," wherein an article was posted saying she had filed molestation charges against Bill Cosby. It could be remembered that she was the very young granddaughter of Bill Cosby's character on the show "The Cosby Show." The fake article quickly spread on the Internet.

The former DIsney actress, who recently came out as a lesbian, says she thinks the rumour being spread by the article is disgusting and she wants no part of it. The actress took to Instagram to clarify that she was never molested by Bill Cosby during the '80s-era show. She even posted a photo of herself from the family-oriented sitcom. She said that she was "practically a baby" on the show and everyone on the set had treated her appropriately and with kindness. She asked that she be kept out of the controversial issue.

The satirical article came in the middle of the hot issue against Bill Cosby. Several women have came forward to accuse Bill Cosby of sexual assaults, including supermodel Janice Dickinson. "I remember before I passed out thinking that I had been sexually assaulted . . . Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was [Cosby] dropping his robe and getting on top of me," Dickinson revealed on Entertainment Tonight.

Because of the scandal that Bill Cosby is currently embroiled in, he already lost a supposedly big project with NBC. The story arc for the project would be revolving around Cosby but now, the development of the show has been stopped. Netflix also decided to postpone the already planned Cosby standup comedy special, "Cosby 77." It was set on November 27, but now it is postponed for an indefinite period of time. TV Land had also stopped all reruns of "The Cosby Show" on its schedule.

The actor preferred to keep mum through all these. His lawyer already announced that this is really the plan as the actor would never dignify these allegations with a response. The lawyer also asserted that no matter how many times these accusations are repeated, this would not make them true.
