Rapper Lil B said that James Harden and the Houston Rockets are in trouble in the NBA playoffs because of the curse he brought. The Houston Rockets are already down 3-0 against the Golden State Warriors, and Lil B claimed that it was all because of a “Based God curse” which he put on Harden. In their third encounter against the Splash Brothers, The Rockets were decimated 115-80, putting them on the verge of elimination.

The rapper told TMZ Sports that he cursed the guard after the latter failed to apologize for using his “cooking it up” dance without permission or giving the rapper, who allegedly created the move, due credit.

Lil B said, “He’s cursed for the rest of the playoffs and further notice until he speaks on what dance celebration he’s doing and where it comes from.”

Lil B further added that he gave The Beard one last warning before Game 3 but Harden did not mind him. The rapper said, “He lost by 35 points to match the jersey number of his former teammate [Kevin Durant] who is actively cursed right now.”

NBC Sports revealed that the rapper reiterated his point on Twitter. Lil B tweeted on May 22, “THE BASEDGOD" speaks... He told Lil B James harden is not cursed but he has been warned and questioned .. Lil B cooking dance? TOPO - Lil B”.

Two days later, he tweeted, “THE BASEDGOD" SPEAKS.Smh all James harden had to do was clarify what dance he was doing.Lil B speaks. Please leave James alone - Lil B”. According to Lil B, he also threw the curse on the 2014 NBA MVP which resulted to his current foot problems that kept him on the bench for majority of the season.

B said that he did not want the hex to happen and hopes that Harden would reconsider to give the Rockets a chance to get better. According to Lil B, the Based God curse can be lifted anytime.
