Rachel Weisz, the stunning English star of “The Constant Gardener,” tells The Observer in a recent interview she may not feel as much pressure as some to go under the knife in order to keep looking her radiant looks through the years.

Now 41 and married to Bond star Daniel Craig, Weisz expresses strong beliefs on how every actor must work hard to keep their looks, comparing actors to “athletes.”

"I think as an actor, you have to look after yourself," she said. "It's like being an athlete. You have to look after yourself and work out."

Dismissing 40 as “so not a major milestone,” Weisz said she is unlikely to undergo a nip and tuck anytime soon.

"Oh God. Ask me in a few years. I feel a bit too young for that. Maybe I'm deluded. I don't have a philosophical problem with people who do things like that. It's really up to them. But personally, I'll just have to see how I go," Weisz said in an interview as part of her promotional stints of an upcoming TV project, “Page Eight.”

On top of her stellar performance on “The Constant Gardener,” the English beauty is also best known for other highly acclaimed films such as “The Whistleblower” (2010); historical drama film, “Agora” (2009); “The Brother’s Bloom” (2008) she co-starred with Adrien Brody and Mark Ruffalo.

Weisz’s latest project is “Page Eight”, a spy thriller of the BBC. The “Runaway Jury” star will be reunited with former “Gardener” co-star Ralph Fiennes, who plays the prime minister in the BBC drama written and directed by David Hare. Weisz portrays the character of political activist, Nancy Pierpan.
