The DEA Mole

The episode before "El Nacimiento de Bolivia" was "El Beso de Judas," which aired on June 29. It showed Epifanio getting shot while he was in his limousine. He was able to dodge death because the car is bulletproof. Meanwhile, Teresa's loyalties were tested in this episode. It included an order to hunt down and kill a mole in the DEA. Unfortunately, the mole was Guero, her old lover.

James and Guero's meeting

James finally met Guero. He almost killed him but decided not to when Teresa said that Guero is with him. After that, they took him to Camila's mansion.

Guero tells Camila about El Santo and the Jimenez cartel

As soon as they arrive at Camila's mansion, Camila questioned Guero. He finally admitted that he was the DEA informant. However, he swore he didn't tell them anything about Camila. Guero managed to convince Camila not to kill him. He also told him that the Jimenez cartel was a mess and that he could help Camila connect with another Mexican cartel led by El Santo.
