“Quantico” returned after a mini-break on Sunday. In episode 9 “Guilty,” the viewers are introduced to Dr. Susan Langdon, played by Anne Heche while Miranda Shaw (Aunjanue Ellis) is in hospital and Liam O’Connor goes to see her.

As the episode proceeds, viewers get to know that Miranda’s son Charlie has not stabbed his mom. He is rather kidnapped by the stabber. Meanwhile, Caleb Haas gets a call from his dad Clayton, who tells him that Shelby Wyatt’s (Johanna Braddy) sister might not be a real person.

Things get difficult between Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) and Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin) due to Liam. When Alex goes to meet him, he is replaced by some other character. Both Ryan and Simon Asher (Tate Ellington) are out of Quantico. The latter keeps questioning Langdon about details of the night she arrested the Welfare Mom Killer.

Ryan notices Simon being pushed by Susan out of the room.

Later when the NATs (new agent trainees) are watching Langdon being arrested on TV, Simon tells them that he helped in arresting the former. But, the NATs vilify him and he is angry, TV Line reports. Simon then meets the Israeli bomb specialist and takes a flash drive from him. The drive contains the blueprints to every train station in New York.

Meanwhile, Elias Harper (Rick Cosnett) makes an entry as Alex’s lawyer, Vulture reports. He had left Quantico after failing in the mid-term examinations. In this week’s episode, all the NATs come together in Team Alex to figure out where she was on the day of the bombing and try to prove her innocent in front of the seniors.

After turning herself in, the High Value Detainee Interrogation Group (or HIG) takes her to an undisclosed location. Alex is shocked to see Ryan in the room. The helicopter he was put in by Alex is intercepted by the HIG.

Ryan is in a very bad state and the HIG wants her to open up. In the meantime, when Liam gets to know about Alex’s innocence, he and his agents save the duo. However, Liam wants Alex to play fugitive for some time in order to catch the real bomber.

“Quantico” airs at 10 p.m. on Sundays on ABC in the US.
