Samsung is now rumoured to be working on the Galaxy S7. Fresh reports reveal that two editions of the S7 will be rolled out with different sized displays. Early speculations suggest that the Galaxy S7 will also carry support for a microSD slot.

According to G for Games, the South Korean tech giant will be launching the Galaxy S7 in two display versions of 5.2-inch and 5.8-inch. The 5.2-inch display will carry support for 4K resolution. However, the resolution of the 5.8-inch display is not known yet.

Another report from the publication suggests that the Galaxy S7 models will be featuring two different chipsets. One will be powered by Snapdragon 820 whereas the other one is likely to feature Exynos M1 project that is also referred to Exynos 8890. However, the report does not say whether the 5.2-inch Galaxy S7 will feature the Snapdragon or Exynos chip.

The chipset of the Galaxy S7 will be supported by 4 GB of RAM. The new 6 GB RAM from Samsung will not be present on the next Galaxy S7 handsets. However, it is expected to support the chipset of the Galaxy Note 6 that will launch in the second half of 2016. It is expected to be available in two internal storage versions of 32 GB and 64 GB.

Another interesting rumour that has popped is the support for a microSD slot on Galaxy S7. Samsung will continue to feature unibody construction on the Galaxy S7 with non-removable battery but still include support for expandable storage.

Like previous year for the Galaxy S5, this year too, the Galaxy S6 was launched at the Mobile World Congress in March. However, the Galaxy S7 is expected to launch before the Mobile World Congress 2016 event. Sam Mobile claims that speculations even indicate that the Galaxy S7 would be ready by the end of 2015 and will release at the start of 2016.
