It would cost Manchester United £38.8M (AS $79M) to make the loan deal permanent from Monaco according to Spanish newspaper Marca. Ever since joining the club on loan, the Colombian striker has gone through a series of injuries before recovering completely.

In 11 league matches so far, around half of which he started from the bench, he has scored three times for the Red Devils. His first goal was a winner against Everton, his second helped United secure a point against Aston Villa while his third was a leveller against Stoke City FC to secure another point for the club. He usually has stepped up to score in crucial moments in matches which is a hallmark of a top predator. Along with Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie, Radamel Falcao could form a deadly striking trio at the top of their game in a long and illustrated career for all three of them.

Manchester United are also chasing the signature of a £20M rated Everton right-back Seamus Coleman as reported in The Guardian. The 26 year old Republic of Ireland international is having two back to back stellar seasons with The Toffees. Last year he scored six goals in the league as well. For a defender that is a rich return at the end of the season. Manchester United are also looking to sign Aston Villa centre-half Ron Vlaar, a consistent performer for both club and country for quite a few years now.

Manchester United are placed third on the league table nine points behind the leaders Chelsea and Manchester City. They are just one point above the fourth placed Southampton and three ahead of the fifth placed Tottenham Hotspurs.
