After so many leaks and speculations, Sony has finally revealed the PS Plus August 2014 lineup for North America and Europe.

Just like Sony's Fred Dutton had stated before as a clue, the PS Plus August 2014 lineup does prove to be an eclectic one, with both North America and Europe offerings being the same except for one PS Vita game.

According to the PlayStation Blog, there will be two games each coming for the PS4, the PS3 and the PS Vita. For the PS4, puzzles seem to be the trend for the PS Plus August 2014. First off, you have the "Road Not Taken" from developer Spry Fox, which features puzzles and strategy as a ranger. Polytron's "FEZ" is also free to PS Plus members, allowing you to take on Gomez who is off to a journey through time and space.

PS3 players are in for a ride with "Crysis 3," the biggest title in the shooter franchise. Or if you're prefer playing with other gamers, the title also brings the Hunter mode, where you can partner with a friend to battle against CELL agents.

Break away from the all shooting with "Proteus," which is all about exploration in the dreamy landscape of the game.

PS Vita players will get "Metrico," an infographics-based game that makes pie charts and lines surprisingly interesting.

For PS Plus members in North America, expect the other PS Vita game to be "Dragon's Crown," the multiplayer RPG that features coop play and boss fights. Those in Europe will get "LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7," where you can go back to the magical adventures of Harry and the gang, with a lot of shout outs to known places like Hogwarts, Diagon Alley and more.

Summer Sale Discounts Begin

If the free games for PS Plus August 2014 were not enough to keep you occupied, Sony has also announced the first wave of titles for the Summer Sale offering.

There's something for everyone playing the PS3, PS3 or PS Vita, and this first announcement is just the preliminary offerings for the planned 200 items slated to push with the sale.

From now until August 20 for the PS4 and August 8 for the PS3 and PS Vita, there are a number of titles spread out among the three PlayStation consoles. And while the PlayStation Blog Europe features the complete list, here are some highlights to take note of:
