The “Prison Break” return is widely anticipated and fresh media reports confirm that the popular TV show will begin shooting in Vancouver, Canada. However, it is not clear whether Michael Scofield’s (Wentworth Miller) love interest, Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies), will make a comeback or not. Even if she does, she needs enough in her scripts that can do justice to fan expectations.

Filming for the “Prison Break” reboot will take place in Vancouver simply because both Miller and Dominic Purcell are already based in the city where the two are filming for The CW’s “The Legends of Tomorrow” since last year, writes Parent Herald. Miller and Purcell may have finally sorted out their scheduling issues. Their casting on “Prison Break” return was confirmed early January by Fox.

Season 5 will return several years after the show ended. [Spoiler Alert] The show creators will have a tough job explaining how Miller’s character lived even after it was shown he was killed.

However, Callies is still battling scheduling issues due to her commitment to another show “Colony,” which had been renewed for a second season on the USA Network. The show will be filmed in Chatsworth, California. Callies wants to be a part of “Prison Break” revival.

“There are people yelling at each other on telephones right now in LA -- and hopefully they work it out, because I very much want to be part of it,” she said.

Callies has also revealed that she has kept every single script from the show and will be more than willing to go through them once again if she signs up for the revival, writes Express.co.uk. The 38-year-old actor also said that she kept a journal and made notes every day during filming, carefully documenting her mistakes and her thoughts. Thus, it is clear that if is she reprises her role, she would be more than ready.

However, “Prison Break” fans were disheartened to hear that “Royal Pains” leading man Mark Feuerstein had been roped in for a major recurring role,as Sara Tancredi’s husband, Scott Ness.

Sara has moved on and will be shown settled with Ness. Other fan favourites such as Amaury Nolasco, Rockmond Dunbar and Robert Knepper haven’t been confirmed.

“Prison Break” season 5 is expected to return on Fox Channel anytime between 2016 and early 2017.
