“Prison Break” Season 5 shooting is in full flow. The revival mini-series is expected to air in September, and Faran Tahir, who will be playing the recurring role of Jamil, has confirmed the news via Facebook.

“I will be playing the recurring role of Jamil on Prison Break: Sequel (Mini TV Series) Season 5 which is expected to air from September 2016. ‪ #‎prisonbreak,” wrote Tahir.

On April 30, executive producer Vaun Wilmott posted a photo of Dr. Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) in action. Wilmott regularly posts updates and fan arts on “Prison Break” revival with the words “Prison Break is back.”

“The beautiful Sara on the monitor... Prison Break is back!! @PBWritersRoom @PrisonBreak,” Wilmott tweeted.

The first cut of the first episode of “Prison Break” revival is already done. In a photo posted on Prison Break Writers Twitter account, show creator Paul Scheuring is seen ecstatic to see the first cut. In another photo, Robert Knepper, who plays T-Bag in the hit Fox series, is seen reading the script.

[Spoiler Alert] As it is believed that Michael Scofield is alive and imprisoned in Yemen, his brother Lincoln (Dominic Purcell), friend Sucre (Amaury Nolasco), Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies), and possibly Michael and Sara’s son Michael Jr. will try and free him from incarceration. This will set the stage for the show’s biggest escape ever. It is rumoured that the show will shoot in Moroccan locations such as Ouarzazate, Casablanca and Rabat to portray the Middle East. Michael may be suffering from amnesia at the start of the season.

Going by a photo posted by Purcell, it seems that he will be involved in an accident. A body double is seen lying on the hood of a car with a hammer in hand.

“Another day on #pb Lots of action today. My stunty on the hood of the car. He's my guy we have the same heads same body type. Hard to find a good stunty that looks similar. Makes me look good. Thanks Johnny,” Purcell thanked his body double.
