Born William Arthur Philip Louis in June 21, 1982, Prince William is the eldest son of Charles, the Prince of Wales, and Lady Diana. The prince has been living an illustrious life under the eyes of the entire world since he has been born, especially now that he's gearing up to be the next king of England. It was said during his younger life that William desired to become a police officer, for the purpose of protecting his mother Lady Diana. William and Diana were extremely close, and one can only imagine the elder prince's sorrow when Diana passed away in1997.

After William finished his secondary education in Windsor's Eton College, he signed up for a one-year break to attend the British Army and join several teaching programs for the Raleigh programme. The Prince has then been involved in various royal responsibilities, humanitarian causes, environmental programmes and numerous charities, throughout his young life.

In 2011, the prince enrolled in the University of St. Andrews, the third oldest university in United Kingdom where he took up arts history and geography. This is where he met his wife Catherine "Kate" Middleton in 2003, who he later married in late April of this year.
