Just like any regular couple, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are once again forced to make a decision on where to spend the upcoming Christmas holidays. However, after spending 4.5 million million pounds in refurbishing Anmer Hall, the royal couple will reportedly spend their third Christmas as a couple in their new home in Norfolk.

The million-dollar question, though, is where they are going to have the big Christmas meal, considering the current condition of the Duchess. Based on various reports, the Cambridges will have the Christmas lunch with Queen Elizabeth together with the Royal Family in Sandringham House, which is close to their new home, without Kate's family.

Catherine's parents Michael and Carole, including her siblings Pippa and James, are unfortunately not invited to join the royal family, according to a source of Daily Mail. Although the Queen is fond of the Duchess, there is no way that her family is going to be invited for lunch or dinner especially for Christmas.

"The Queen is fond of Kate and doesn't mean to exclude her family - indeed she has broken many of the old rules for them in the past," a source told the publication. "But if all of her children and grandchildren's wives had their families to lunch, there wouldn't be enough room, even at Sandringham House's dining room."

However, since the couple have their own place where they can host a big dinner for Kate's family, the Middletons are reportedly to "decamp to Norfolk for the festive season." To spend more time with Prince George before welcoming the newest addition to the family, Kate's family, including her brother and sister, will reportedly have a Christmas dinner in Anmer Hall. The reports have yet to be officially confirmed by the Palace, however.

A present from the Queen on Prince William's 30th birthday, the Georgian estate will be used as the couple's new base while William works as a helicopter pilot with the East Anglia Air Ambulance Service. The 200-year-old building boasts a new kitchen and driveway, including a swimming pool and a tennis court to accommodate their guests during the holidays.
