Jill Scott, from England’s women’s soccer team Lionesses, recently commented on how Prince William doesn’t become royalty when it comes to being a father to his two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Scott said during an interview that the Duke of Cambridge lives a normal life when out of the public view and away from his royal duties.

Jill Scott mentioned how Prince William now has his hands full with two children, following the recent birth of his daughter, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. In an interview with People, the soccer player noted how the Duke of Cambridge lives a normal life when it comes to his children. She recalled what Prince William said that “he’d had a few sleepless nights.”

The baby will be up and George is running around now isn't he? It reflects that he does a normal life away from his duty as prince,” Scott said. Scott added that Prince William is just a “normal guy who wants normal conversations.”

Fellow Lionesses player Steph Houghton also told the publication how the Duke of Cambridge is enjoying fatherhood. “He was saying he's obviously really enjoying being a father and Princess Charlotte is actually keeping him up – and probably why his eyes are looking a little bit tired," she revealed.

Prince William had a chance to talk to the members of the Lionesses soccer team on Wednesday, May 20. During their conversation in the players’ locker room the 32-year old Duke of Cambridge shared the weary effects of watching over two toddlers and how they are keeping him up at night. That’s why the players really appreciated how Prince William still managed to meet them to personally extend his support for the team ahead of their upcoming tournament in the World Cup in Canada on June 6.

The Duke of Cambridge has often spoken about his children during his recent royal duties. Former Aswad frontman Brinsley Forde told People that he and Prince William had a chat about their children after the MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) awarding on May 19 held in at the Waterloo Chamber of Windsor Castle. The Duke reportedly told him that Princess Charlotte is doing good and that “she’s fine.”
