Prince Harry recently brought smiles to several orphans in Lesotho and enjoyed himself in the process, beaming from ear to ear as he played with the orphans and staff of Sentebale. After the fruitful trip, he also attended Buckingham Palace for the annual pre-Christmas lunch with Kate Middleton and Prince William.

The Daily Mail reported that Prince Harry flew last week to the HIV-ravaged nation in southern Africa along with Lesotho's Prince Seeiso. The itinerary was to oversee how his organisation, Sentebale, is doing in the nation. Sentebale is designed to offer health care and educational services to unfortunate children in the country. One in every three kids in Lesotho is an orphan and badly need the services being offered by Sentebale.

Prince Harry was enthusiastic with this particular visit, detailing the warm welcome he received. He said there were 40 very excited and energetic children who welcomed them and used them as "climbing frames." Prince Harry showed his childhood-like exuberance and played with the kids, engaging in water fights and many laughs. He also took many pictures of the kids, with the kids and of the stunning country of Lesotho. He even enthusiastically discussed what and who the photos feature.

"The boy flying is Lerato, a three-year-old who was abandoned at birth. The photo was taken by three-year-old Karabo who is blind. She heard the clicks, went to the camera and with a little bit of help on direction, shot this great photo," he detailed.

Prince Harry claimed that he has a particular penchant for photography. He said he finds enjoyment in getting behind the camera and coming up with the perfect shot. He said he finds photography both fun and challenging, even though he privately does not take many photos. He shared that most of his best photos are just in his head. Most of these are of Africa.

According to Cathy Ferrier, the CEO of Sentebale, Prince Harry's trip allowed him to have a firsthand experience and observation of how his charity is faring and succeeding in meeting the children's needs. It also allowed Prince Harry to meet the children he's trying to help and see the positive effects of the programs. Moreover, the CEO also detailed that Prince Harry did not only come in to observe or play with the kids, he also provided his "personal input to the next phase of building of the Momohato Children's Center." The CEO said the whole of Sentebale is excited for the new plans and could not wait to see the planned children's center coming into fruition in 2015.

Prince Harry then flew back and attended the annual Pre-Christmas lunch held at the Buckingham Palace. He donned a navy blue suit and matching tie for the yearly celebration with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their son Prince George.
