Simon Cowell also has his own fandom despite being a strict judge on the “X- Factor.” Cowell was swarmed with kisses from his female admirers during the “Pride of Britain Awards” event on Monday night.

The “X-Factor” judge stepped out for the “Pride of Britain Awards” without his wife, Laura Silverman, who is in the U.S. with her eldest child. Cowell joined his female friends at the event and seemed to have had a good time as he was greeted with kisses on the cheek. Several photos of the 55-year-old surrounded by his admirers at the event were posted by Mirror UK.

Simon was casually dressed, wearing his usual white polo shirt, but he swapped his denim jeans for a pair of black tailored trousers. He was all smiles at the event and proved to be a sport as he joined a group of fans for photos. He even posed in a series of selfies with his female and male admirers, as seen in a photo shared by Mirror UK. In another shot, he was photographed giving one lucky female fan a peck on the cheek.

Cowell was reportedly extra-friendly with his fans, waving at them as he arrived. He joined his fellow "X-Factor" judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on the red carpet to sign fans’ autographs and pose for photographs. Other celebrities who graced the “Pride of Britain Awards” red carpet include David Beckham, David Hasselhoff and the Osbourne family, as seen in this video. Little Mix, Demi Lovato and “Strictly Come Dancing” contestant Peter Andre and his wife Emily MacDonagh were also at the event.

Cowell also shared some good words about one of the event's awardees, Amelia Gebruers. The 10-year-old, who was named the Lidl Young Fundraiser of the Year at the “Pride of Britain Awards,” reportedly made an impression on the “X-Factor” judge. According to Birmingham Mail, Cowell called Amelia the “bravest girl” he has ever met after learning how she started her own charity to support certain hospitals, including Birmingham Children’s Hospital, The Brain Tumour Charity, Marie Curie and the Butterfly AVM.

“What she has done is incredible and we are inviting her down to the show. She is a brilliant young girl,” Cowell said.
