“Pretty Little Liars” Season 7, Episode 9 (“The Wrath of Kahn”) airs Tuesday, Aug. 23, on Freeform. Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson) films herself talking about death in this week’s new episode. It builds greater suspense for PLL 7x10 (“The Darkest Knight”), also known as the summer finale. Will one of the Liars die? Watch the PLL 7x9 promo video below.

PLL 7x9: Hanna goes rogue to reveal the identity of A.D. or Uber A!

“One of the PLLs goes rogue to prove that Noel Kahn is Uber A, while the others try to find evidence to back her theory and worry about her emotional state,” reads the Freeform synopsis of the season’s ninth episode. Fans already know this rogue Liar is Hanna Marin.

In the Aug. 16 episode, PLL 7x8 (“Exes and OMGs”), Hanna launches herself on a mission to prove that Noel Kahn is A.D. The promo video for PLL 7x9 reveals Hanna herself is aware of the new danger she’s gone to.

“If you find this video before I finish what I need to do, something went terribly wrong,” Hanna says in the PLL 7x9 promo clip. (Watch the video below.) This supports speculations that a Liar would die in the summer finale.

This Twitter post from PLL show boss I. Marlene King convinced some fans that a Liar gets killed in “The DArkest Knight.” Earlier, King also described PLL 7 as the “deadliest season” of the series.

Will Hanna die trying to prove that Noel Kahn killed Sara (Dre Davis)? “Be careful, Hanna. You’ll end up just like [Sara],” Noel says in this week’s promo clip. Fans expect to find out who A.D. or Uber A is in the summer finale.

‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 7, Episode 9 Spoilers: A’s Dollhouse, Spencer and Marco, Aria and Jason

According to reports, the Liars will be seen in flashback scenes that involve A's Dollhouse. A sneak peek video also reveals Spencer (Troian Bellisario) will have a landmark scene with Marco Furey (Nicholas Gonzalez). Incidentally, this is another episode without a Spoby moment. However, King has revealed that Spoby or Spencer and Toby (Keegan Allen) will share a moment in the summer finale.

Meanwhile, Aria (Lucy Hale) will be working with Jason DiLaurentis to find out if Mary Drake has deep, dark secrets that they can use against her. This happens while her fiancé Ezra (Ian Harding) is away, looking for answers about his ex, Nicole Gordon (Rebecca Breeds), who may still be alive.

As for Emily (Shay Mitchell), she continues to reconnect with Paige McCullers (Lindsey Shaw). For Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Paige is not an issue; at least not yet, as of PLL 7x8. Alison just continues her work life, while doing some sleuthing on her own.
