“Pretty Little Liars” Season 7, Episode 8 airs Aug. 16, Tuesday, on Freeform. This week’s new episode is titled “Exes and OMGs,” to be followed by PLL 7x9 - “The Wrath of Kahn” on Aug. 23. Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby (Keegan Allen) a.k.a. Spoby take a pause. Jason DiLaurentis (Drew Van Acker) is not appearing, too; but Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty) is returning this week.

Spoiler alert: This update contains “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7 spoilers. This week’s new episode brings the show closer to PLL 7x10 or the mid-season finale, which will feature another death.

PLL Season 7: Is Noel Kahn connected to Mary Drake’s second child?

Despite Toby’s emotional farewell to Spencer in PLL 7x7, Spoby fans will see their favourite couple again. However, both Keegan Allen and Drew Van Acker are not in the list of recurring characters this week. Brant Daugherty is returning, which means viewers might learn more about his deal with Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok).

Based on the title of “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7, Episode 9, it seems Noel is madly upset about something. Could his ‘wrath’ be connected to the second child of Mary Drake (Andrea Parker)? The Liars are clueless about Charlotte’s sibling, and they are just as puzzled when it comes to Noel’s mission now.

Jason DiLaurentis (Drew Van Acker) is also taking a break this week after making it clear to Alison (Sasha Pieterse) in PLL 7x7 that he doesn’t trust Mary at all.

PLL Season 7: Who is A.D. or Uber A?

At this point, the Liars are less convinced that Mary Drake is A.D. Some of the fans are still convinced that A.D. is actually Alison DiLaurentis. However, Noel Kahn is back in the picture now. Viewers can expect more circumstantial evidence that could link Kahn to Uber A or A.D. If he’s not Mary’s second child, then it is possible that someone else might be introduced later for that role. And he or she might be A.D.

PLL show boss I. Marlene King has earlier said the A.D. or Uber A reveal would be “heartbreaking” and “surprising.” Fans could only wait for the big reveal as more clues are set to unravel soon.

PLL Season 7, Episode 8: Emily and Paige meet again

Archer Dunhill a.k.a. the fake Elliott Rollins (Huw Collins) seems to be really dead, so the Liars would be busy on something else -- Mary Drake’s second child. Meanwhile, Aria (Lucy Hale) has to deal with the possibility that Nicole Gordon (Rebecca Breeds) may still be alive.

Nicole is the ex-girlfriend of Ezra (Ian Harding), who in PLL 7x7 is only hours away from getting married to Aria. This would be another matter to resolve this season. Haleb fans also want to find out what happens next to Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn), now that he knows they are both single again.

While the love stories of her friends are getting more complicated with each episode, Emily (Shay Mitchell) is about to have her own ex to deal with in PLL 7x8. Paige McCullers (Lindsey Shaw) is returning. This happens so soon after the death of Sara Harvey (Dre Davis) – while the Liars still don’t know for sure who killed Sara.
