Janel Parrish (Mona Vanderwaal) compared the torture tactics in the dollhouse to ones showcased in the gorefest movie “Saw.” The star stated that “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6 is the “darkest season ever.”

Warning: Spoilers Alert!

Entertainment Online talked to Parrish about “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6 episodes. When she was asked about her character Mona bearing the brunt of Charles’ anger, the star said that she might be in “some dirty hole freaking out.”

She revealed that every Liar is subjected to “a different type of torture.” Parrish said that it is quite dark and reminds her of the movie “Saw.” “The puppet-master plays these games with them, and if they do something wrong -- they're punished,” Parrish said to Entertainment Online. She said that fans will like what is going to happen in the new season.

In “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6, ‘A’ will manage to break Mona. She is considered as one of the strongest, but Parrish mentioned that this time she will break a bit.

“I don’t think fully because Mona just wouldn’t do that -- she prides herself on how strong she's been.” Parrish added that Mona will only be partially broken, however fans are going to meet a different Mona in “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6.

Parrish stated that fans are going to meet a “vulnerable and scared version” of Mona. The new season of “Pretty Little Liars” is about answers and Parrish mentioned, during the interview, that every question connected to Charles will be answered.

The Liars will get out of the doll house, but they will face the repercussions and live with the trauma. Parrish stressed that the Liars will remember the trauma and pain forever. Fans should be ready to see some “disturbing flashbacks” in the new season.
