The "Pretty Little Liars" Season 4 summer finale Tuesday made social media history with a whopping 1.9 million tweets from 637,000 Twitter users. Meanwhile, many fans seem to be convinced that Ezra is A -- citing clues they've picked up in a number of PLL episodes and a producer's statement.

ABC Family issued a statement celebrating the Pretty Little Liars Season 4 strong reaction from its tweeting viewers. The summer mid-season finale ("Now You See Me, Now You Don't") was the No. 1 "most tweeted" series episode in TV history, according to a Huffington Post report.

"I assure you that there is something going on here with Ezra," Pretty Little Liars producer Oliver Goldstick told TV Line in an interview. "I can't give you too much information, but I can tell you it plays out quite beautifully in Season 4B," he added.

TV Line's Megan Masters pointed out during the Pretty Little Liars interview that Ezra loves Aria, and it's difficult to reconcile with the Ezra is A development. Goldstick's response does seem to give away quite a lot.

"They're soulmates, and we've invested so much into them. We're going to be able to explain some things to you," said Goldstick. This part of the interview almost seals the Ezra is A eventual reveal.

When Pretty Little Liars returns on October 22 for Season 4 second half, fans will be treated to more exciting developments, starting from "Grave New World."

"There's a really good pursuit of Alison because the Liars have every reason to believe now that she's still with us. If she's going to be in this town on this holiday, they're not leaving here until we find her," Goldstick said.

"We're going to get the thrills and the fashion and it's going blow people's minds. And we're introducing new characters and all that so it'll be fun," Pretty Little Liars' Ian Harding was quoted by E! Online in this scoop.
