Presidents Day Sale: Microsoft slashes $100 off Surface Pro 4, Pro 3 and Surface 3
As a part of its Presidents Day 2016 promotional sale, Microsoft has slashed the prices of the Surface Pro and Surface line of tablets by US$100 (AU$141). Customers can take advantage of the discounts on Microsoft’s online store as well as its physical retail stores. They can also save US$50 (AU$71) on Microsoft Band 2.
The Surface Pro 4, released back in October, is available for US$100 off the usual retail price. The Surface Pro 4 comes in five different configurations, and the offer is valid on all variants through to Feb. 27.

The Surface Pro 4 is the latest iteration of Microsoft’s hybrid tablet series. The device can be converted into a laptop by simply attaching a keyboard. The hybrid tablet features a 12.3-inch PixelSense display screen. Under the hood, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 runs on an Intel Skylake processor.
After discount, the price of the base model of the Surface Pro 4 starts from US$799 (AU$1134).
Customers can still purchase a Surface Pro 3 at US$100 off from the company's online store. Currently most of the models are out of stock, but you may keep a tab on the availability of the tablet. The model featuring Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of in-built storage is available at US$599 (AU$850), saving buyers US$300 (AU$426). The sale is on until March 31.
The Microsoft Band 2 can be purchased for US$200 (AU$284), which is US$50 (AU$71) less than the original retail price. The offer is good until Feb. 20.
The Surface 3 is also available at $100 off. The 64GB Wi-Fi only model with 2GB of RAM can be purchased at US$399 (AU$566); the 64GB Wi-Fi and LTE variant coupled with 2GB RAM costs US$499 (AU$708).
The 128GB/4GB version of Surface 3 with Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity are up for sale at US$499 (AU$708) and US$599 (AU$850) respectively. The offer is valid until Feb. 20.
Running on Windows 10, the Surface 3 sports a 10.8-inch Full HD 1920x1280 screen and packs a quad core Intel Atom processor. Microsoft is also offering a US$30 (AU$42) discount on the Docking Station if bundled with the Surface 3. The deal is valid until Feb.29, reports Windows Central.
