While Manchester United are far from settled in terms of finding a replacement who could live up to the expectation of matching Alex Ferguson’s caliber, Chelsea have already found their own version of a long-term saviour in Jose Mourinho, according to agent Jorge Mendes.

The Portuguese, before going back to Stamford Bridge in 2013, was also rumoured to be Ferguson’s successor. However, his heart took over and it obviously led him to west London.

"It's completely impossible to find someone like Sir Alex Ferguson because he's a god, he's a genius and to find a genius is very difficult," Mendes told BBC Sport.

"You have one in England... Jose Mourinho."

"Jose will stay for sure.”

"He will be the Sir Alex Ferguson of Chelsea Football Club. He loves the supporters, he loves the city and I think he will stay there for more than 10 years."

Louis van Gaal is doing relatively better in handling the Red Devils’ affairs, as his side has been within the top-four for most parts of the ongoing season. But until and unless trophies are won, the red side of Manchester will still be filled with discontent.

Meanwhile, Mendes bared that one of his clients and United first-choice goalkeeper David de Gea will not be heading anywhere amid speculations linking him to Real Madrid, coupled with an expiring contract, which will end in June 2016.

Radamel Falcao’s case is, on the other hand, as unsure as his current campaign is. The Colombian is not getting the same playing time like he would in his past clubs and is understood to have grown frustrated by how he is treated.

"If he will not stay in Manchester, he will play for sure in one of the biggest teams in Europe," Mendes said of the loaned Colombian who is principally contracted with AS Monaco.
