No more sneaky paparazzi and unofficial tabloid spreads: the Duchess of Cambridge is about to reveal her baby bump in an official royal appearance today at an Action on Addiction charity launch.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, does not have to hide away from paparazzi this time as she is set to appear in a charity event she supports. Catherine will head to Hope House, without Prince William on her side, to hear stories of women who have been strongly recovering from substance abuse. Action on Addiction is one of the charities the Duchess fully supports since the beginning of her reign.

Just recently, photos of the Duchess were published by an Italian magazine called "Chi," showing her bare baby bump in a bikini while vacationing in Mustique. It was reported that magazines from around the world, including Australia's Woman Today, has been shopping for the photos since it started to leak.

One report mentioned that the private bikini photos cost as much as $400,000, especially now that photos including sister, Pippa Middleton are surfacing for tabloids to feast on.

British publications and media outlets have completely declined to show the photos, stating a "gentleman's agreement" between the channels and the Royal family. The Italian publication, Chi, has less dignity and more intent for publicity, saying that there's absolutely nothing wrong with their move to place the images on their pages.

"it is not possible to talk about a breach of privacy when public personalities are photographed in a public, open place such as (a) beach, attended by bathers" confidently says its editor, Alfonso Signorini.
