The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge would go live for pre-orders in Netherlands on the launch day itself. Whoever signs up on the company website and pre-orders Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge between Feb. 21 and March 10, will also get a free Samsung Gear VR headset.

According to a report in Android World, Samsung will start taking pre-orders for its upcoming flagship devices, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge as soon as they are announced at the MWC 2016 on Feb. 21.

The report also mentioned that the company would additionally offer a free Samsung Gear VR headset to entice customers to purchase the newly launched smartphones. In case of Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5, Samsung started taking pre-orders in the US from the very next day of its launch, as reported by SamMobile.

A source also claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be released in three colours in 32GB models in Netherlands. However, there is no confirmation on the same.

Speculations indicate that Samsung will bring back expandable storage options with the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphones. So even if the company launches the 32GB version, users should be able to expand the storage up to 128GB via microSD card.

Other rumoured Galaxy S7 specs include water resistance and ‘Always On’ mode. Recent reports also indicated that the Galaxy S7 Edge will house a massive 3,600 mAh battery to keep the lights on.

The Galaxy S7 Edge is expected to feature a 5.5-inch display, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM. Depending on the market, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Samsung Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor.

Android World sources also revealed the prices of the devices in the Dutch market. The Samsung Galaxy S7 price will start from €699 (AU$1113) whereas the Galaxy S7 Edge will cost €799 (AU$1273).
