Ghost may have to spend a long time in prison, judging by a new sneak peek of “Power” season 4. A new picture shows James Patrick with his lawyer, but things are not looking good for him.

[Spoiler alert]

James (Omari Hardwick) was arrested in his own night club by his former lover Angela (Lela Loren). A new sneak peek picture from the next season has been posted on TV Guide. The report notes that while Ghost may be innocent of the murder he is being accused of, the expression on his lawyer’s face suggests that he is in deep trouble.

Ghost has lied his way out of many situations. This time he may be telling the truth to the investigators, but the report notes that everyone in the room, including his own lawyer, may not believe him. The evidence is strong against him, so it may be difficult for James to get out of jail early in “Power” season 4.

James broke into Greg’s (Andy Bean) apartment in the previous season, and dropped the tools he used in the crime. Angela found the tools and his fingerprints, which she will now use as evidence against him. He has committed a lot of other crimes such as dealing in drugs and murder. Even suspicions of him being involved in these other crimes may pile up against him to paint him as a criminal in front of a jury.

Getting out of jail is crucial for James right now, and he can’t wait for the trial to start to prove his innocence. James’ son has been kidnapped, and he has to think of a way to either rescue the boy or pay up.

A teaser video of “Power” season 4 that was previously released showed Tasha (Naturi Naughton) repeatedly calling James on the phone. But, there is no answer because Ghost was heading to jail at that time.
