Filming for “Power” Season 4 began recently. The first behind the scenes picture from the production set shows the filming of a scene involving Federal agents, including Angela. The first teaser of the next season was released recently.

“The cast is ready for action,” the caption of the first behind the scenes photo reads. Cast member Lela Loren (Angela Valdes) can be seen holding the clapper, which is used just before the filming of a scene and helps while editing the filmed scenes.

[Spoiler alert]

After the arrest of James (Omari Hardwick), the Justice Department’s prosecution will be the main focus in the next season. Leading the case could be Angela herself, as it was her determination and evidence gathering that led to the arrest.

However, the prosecution will have its own set of challenges. First off the evidence is weak and only circumstantial. They will need the murder weapon and James’ finger prints on it. Second there are trust issues within the department, especially against Angela.

The other major element of the plot in “Power” Season 4 is the kidnapping of James’ son Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.). After a lot of planning and preparation, Kanan (50 Cent) finally struck towards the end of Season 3. But, with Ghost in prison the villain may not get the big payoff he is looking for.

All eyes will be on Tommy (Joseph Sikora) and Tasha (Naturi Naughton) in the next season. It will be interesting to see if the two characters come together and try to save Ghost or focus on getting Tariq back.

“Power” Season 4 is set to premiere sometime in 2017. The producers are yet to reveal an exact release date. The first teaser video of the next season teased James getting sent to jail, while Tasha was trying hard to reach him.
