A preview trailer of “Poldark” season 3 episode 2 has been released online. The video shows the budding love between Morwenna (Elise Chappell) and Drake (Harry Richardson), which is unacceptable for both Ross (Aidan Turner) and George (Jack Farthing). Meanwhile, there is terrible news about Dr Enys (Luke Norris).

Drake wants to see more of the beautiful lady he met on his way to meet his sister Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson). However, Ross wants to put a stop to this, demanding the young man to stay away from Warleggan and its occupants.

The decision may seem harsh to Drake because he doesn’t know about the deal Ross struck with George. The young miner promised to stay away from the Warleggans as long as George kept the estate and the mine in good shape, treating Aunt Agatha (Caroline Blakiston) well.

While Ross draws the line for Drake, George will do something similar with Morwenna. Can the warring families keep the two love birds apart? Their attraction will cause a problem that both families want to avoid.

George has other things to focus on. He wants to become a magistrate and dispense justice. Elizabeth (Heida Reed) is not happy with the decision but remains silent as a dutiful wife.

Meanwhile, Dr Enys (Luke Norris) has been captured by French soldiers. Will Ross attempt a rescue mission to save an old friend? Caroline (Gabriella Wilde) is inconsolable after hearing the news. Ross owes a lot to the couple, so he may find it hard to stand idly by at this time of crisis.

The fans may have noticed Jud (Phil Davis) missing in the premiere episode. The actor has revealed that he dropped “Poldark” season 3 for a chance to appear in “Riviera,” List reports. At the moment only Prudie (Beatie Edney) is managing the comic relief on the show.
