The existence of a “Pokemon Z” has been teased more than once, particularly with the revelation of the Zygarde’s different forms and the new “Pokemon XY & Z” anime in Japan. While Nintendo has not officially announced any plans for a game version, there are a few hints that point to a possible confirmation and announcement in December.

CoroCoro leaks serve as some of the bigger clues, especially since these are also the sources where the aforementioned teasers came from. In a Weekly Nintendo Life update, speculations point to the possibility of the new CoroCoro announcement being related to the game. While the common trend has always been a movie franchise announcement instead of a game announcement, this has not stopped fans from hoping and speculating.

There have been no updates on the possible main game for Pokemon in the franchise. Other Pokemon titles have taken the spotlight instead, such as the “Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon.” Recently, Nintendo announced via its official website that fans can play as any of 20 fan-favourite Pokemon in the world. The goal is to explore the world as that chosen Pokemon and solve the mystery of Legendary Pokemon turning into stone.

The game also allows players to interact with as many as 720 Pokemon in the world. This holiday season, players who have just decided to purchase “Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon” via the Nintendo eShop, Nintendo.com or retail stores can get a free theme. The purchase will include a download code for the free theme until Dec. 6. The “Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon” free theme is redeemable until Oct. 20, 2016.

Another Pokemon game that has been receiving some attention is the “Pokemon Shuffle.” Available on the Nintendo 3DS and mobile, the game has new events to welcome in the month of December.

Listed by trusted Pokemon source Serebii, each version will get to access the Latios Escalation Battle, set to expire on Dec. 8.. Both the Dragon-type Latios and its corresponding Mega Stone are up for grabs. Other prizes in the event include EXP points, Disruption Delay, Mega Start, Latiosite and Mega Speedup.
