“Pokemon Sun and Moon” players are gearing up for the next online competition. The competition will be the Kanto X Alola Regional Rumble. It will allow Pokemon from Gen 1 and 7 to square off in singles competition.

According to iDigitalTimes, “Pokemon Sun and Moon” players who participate in the online competition will receive two Mega Stones, not available in the Gen 7 games. Trainers are eagerly waiting for Pidgeotite and Steelixite for the Kanto X Alola Regional Rumble. During the February International Competition, players received Beedrillite and Mawilite as prizes. Those who want to sign up for the Rumble and win the two Mega Stones, should follow certain steps. First, they need to sign up from the Pokémon Global Link (PGL) homepage.

“Pokemon Sun and Moon” players have to select Online Competitions in the main menu to read and accept the rules and regulations. A Pokemon Trainer Club account is also necessary. Players also need their “Pokemon Sun” or “Pokemon Moon” game and a Battle Team of eligible Pokemon. Players, once they have signed in, wold have to download the Digital Player ID via the game. For this, they need to select Festival Plaza from X menu in the game. Next, they need to select Battle, Visit the Battle Spot and then Online Competition.

Whenever a “Pokemon Sun and Moon” player downloads the Digital Player ID, the Battle Team lock for previous competitions will be removed. In order to be eligible for Pidgeotite and Steelixite, a player needs to compete in three battles. It is not known how the two Mega Stones will be distributed. The Pokemon Company has revealed that Mega Stones found in “Sun and Moon” will be distributed in a similar way as Beedrillite and Mawilite. The company has started distributing the Mega Stones to allow trainers access to Mega Forms.

The “Pokemon Sun and Moon” Mega Stones for Beedrill and Mawile will only be available to trainers who participated in the International Friendly in February. The method of retrieving both Mega Stones will be similar to how trainers received Mewtwonite X and Y. The Mega Stones will be distributed via a code on the Pokemon Global Link website. Once the code is received, players need to power up the game and go to the Mystery Gift tab. They need to select Via Code and then input the code. The Mega Stones will be sent to the game.
