“Pokemon Shuffle” is getting three events, two events for both the Nintendo 3Ds and mobile, and one specifically for the Nintendo 3DS. On Nintendo’s handheld console, players have a chance to win the Mega Stone for the Absol starting Oct. 12.

As usual, the top-tier players in participating regions will get prizes that are equivalent to their ranking. Those who are in the top 20,000 in America and 12,000 in Europe will get the Absolite. Those among the 27,000 in America and 17,000 in Europe will get 2 Attack Power. Otherwise, participating in the competition even without placing among the top will still yield players a jewel.

Trusted Pokemon source Serebii also announced that both versions will get the return run of Dialga, which will start on Oct. 12 on the Nintendo 3Ds and on Oct. 19 on mobile. Meanwhile, the Palkia stage has also debuted for both platforms, starting this Oct. 19. The events will require the version 1.2.19 update to play.

Pokemon fans can also look forward to a Halloween event this October. The Pokemon Company has announced a new event for owners of the “Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire” title.

The new event, dubbed the Spooky Cup Online Competition, pits players with the oddest and spookiest Pokemon teams against each other. All of the Pokemon should be from “Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire,” as the competition features Double Battles. Other Pokemon that are not in the list or from “Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire” will not be allowed.

The developer has specified the allowed Pokemon via the official Pokemon website. These include the Rattata, Zubat, Parasect, Haunter, Gastly, Gengar, Ditto, Sneasel, Sharpedo, Banette, Sableye, Venipede, Gothita,Pumpkaboo, Gourgeist, Meowstic, Espurr and more. Pikachu is also allowed, since it can easily slip into a costume. Pokemon that are part of the competition will be set to Level 50. The competition will also not allow the use of Mega Stones.

Registration for the Spooky Cup Online Competition starts on Oct. 15. Players who want to participate will need to have their own Pokemon Trainer Club account and a copy of the “Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire” title. The competition will begin on Oct. 23.
