Despite the end of the year 2014 drawing near, the end is not yet in sight for "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire." If anything, new events and updates are just around the corner for players of the Hoenn remake.

The latest event has been announced in an episode of Japanese show "Pokemon Get TV," where the serial code for the Contrary Serperior was revealed. According to trusted Pokemon source Serebii, the serial code is unique from previous distributed codes in that it can be used by multiple players in the event. The actual source has already been revealed to be POKEMON497, and the code can be redeemed from Jan. 9 until Nov. 30.

Apart from this, the demo for "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" has also been made available over at the Nintendo 3DS eShop even if you don't have a code. This means that for those who have yet to buy a copy, the trial version is the best way to see which game they may want to get.

For those who are already players of the main game, the "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" demo will also let them pay through and send some items as well as the Mega Glalie to their actual game. Currently, this additional feature of adding items to the main game is only available in North America, with no word yet on whether or not fans in Europe and Japan will also access the same feature later on.

There are also a number of new collections for trading cards coming out in 2015. According to Pokebeach, there are at least three box sets coming in Spring 2015, all of which are themed for "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire."

The first is the Team Magma vs. Team Aqua Double Crisis, which is a mini set that will also be released in America. The box will reportedly have four Double Crisis 7-card booster packs and a collector's pin that will feature either logo of the two opposing teams. The entire set will have 28 cards all in all, including eight holo cards.

Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre Collections are also coming, this time on Mar. 4. But come Mar. 19, there will be a separate Groudon Box Set and a Kyogre Box Set, which will each contain a jumbo card and a holo card of either Pokemons.

Finally, there is also the Latios and Latias Trainer Kit. Similar to the previous sets, this will also feature holos of the two titular Pokemons contained in two 30-card decks. Apart from these, the source also lists down some of the accompanying items coming with the kit, including the deck box, damage counters, a TCG Online code card, a playmat, a coin and a guide on how to play the trainer kit. This new "Latios and Latias Trainer Kit" seems to be an homage to a previous kit that also featured the two Pokemons, but back then, it was for the original "Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire" edition.
