Players of “Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire” have something to look forward to in the coming months. A new event has been spotted at German Gamestops, where giveaway codes for a shiny Charizard have been scheduled starting April.

Pokemon source Pokebeach has spotted the promotional materials for the Shiny Charizard event, reportedly happening from April 1 to July 3. While there are no announcements yet that it will debut in other countries, the source reports that this is a possibility. It presupposes that this matches the event of the same nature that will be happened last Dec. 11 to Jan. 16, 2015 in commemoration of the opening of the Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo.

The link above has a scan of the event. The Pokemon will be at level 36, and will possess abilities including Focus Blast, Hold Hands, Overheat and Solar Beam. The Charizardite Y will also be in its possession.

The “Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire” is not the only game that is looking at new events. Nintendo’s “Pokemon Shuffle” is also lined up for a few new events. One of these is the new challenge that has just stated today and will last until April 6. According to trusted Pokemon source Serebii, the challenge in “Pokemon Shuffle” will have daily challenges, one of which will have Pachirisu.

First, the players would need to update their copies of “Pokemon Shuffle” with the patch 1.1.5 to participate. The different challenges have also been revealed, with the Pokemon per day already revealed. From Monday to Friday, the Pokemon will be as follows: Pachirisu, Sigilyph Tropius, Farfetch’d and Druddigon.

The recently held and concluded challenge is also set to release a Lucarionite to the lucky 90,000 winners hailing from North America, Japan and Australia. This Lucarionite prize is special as it cannot be obtained in the actual game. For those who were able to be part of the 90,000 top players, the Lucarionite is already out as a reward.

“Pokemon Shuffle,” the free-to-play title with a microtransaction model, has now reached 2.5 million downloads. Nintendo Life reports that the new count came in less than a month since the developer has announced the one millionth sale. What’s good news for players is that Nintendo is giving away a free Disruption Delay item for the occasion.
