Battle competitions are now coming to "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire," the first one dubbed as "Battle of Hoenn - Online Competition." This battle competition is already accessible to all areas except for Japan and Korea.

In a report from Serebii, the competition is open to players of "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" and will allow for a single battle competition. As per the rules of the competition, players can use any Pokemon in the Hoenn Pokedex, except for the big leagues like Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Deoxys and Jirachi.

What's more, players can use Pokemons that have been caught or hatched in the "Pokemon X and Y" and "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" titles. Aspiring players can start registering for the Battle of Hoenn as early as Jan. 15, and it will last until Jan. 22. The actual competition will run from Jan. 23 to Jan. 25, with each player allowed 10 battles per day.

For those who are still exploring "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire," the developer has introduced the areas with Mirage Spots where you can find some of the Legendary Pokemons in the game. According to the official "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" website, one of these is the dimensional rift Mirage Spot, which houses the Legendary Pokemons Dialga, Palkia and Giratina.

There are a few things players need to do to get to the Dimensional Rift Mirage Spot and obtain the three Legendaries. To get Dialga and Palkia, players need to have three specific Legendary Pokemons with them in their party. For Giratina, two specific Legendary Pokemons are needed. Note that the Dialga only appears in "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" while Palkia only appears in "Pokemon Omega Ruby."

Another Mirage Spot worth exploring is the Fabled Cave Mirage Spot, where the Legendary Pokemon Reshiram and Zekrom can be caught. The condition is players need to have a very high-level Pokemon in their party. Again, Legendary Pokemon Reshiram is only available in "Pokemon Omega Ruby" while Zekrom can be caught in "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire."

Finally, rounding up some new features announced by the developer are two Mythical Pokemons whose appearances can be changed when you go to specific locations in "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire." Shaymin can be transformed using a Gracidea Flower. Players need to go to the Berry Master's house over on Route 123, where they will be given this flower. Shaymin will then achieve its Sky Forme, which can be turned back when night comes.

The Keldeo is another Mythical Pokemon that can transform. To get its Resolute Form, players need to teach it the Secret Sword move. A man from the Crooner's Café in Mauville City can teach this move to a player's Keldeo. Check out the screenshots of the transformations in this link here.
