“Pokemon GO” players often face difficulty in locating the best and the strongest Pokemon. They sometimes spend hours wondering aimlessly on the tracker in the hope of finding their Pokemon. It’s a hit and a miss situation most of the time. Hence, Niantic, which has been rolling out updates since the release of the game, has sent out yet another for a new “Pokemon GO” tracker.

The tracker helps players locate their Pokemon. Players would know the area where their Pokemon can be captured. The Bitbag has taken a snapshot of the tracker from a Reddit thread. However, the “Pokemon GO” tracker update has not been released in all regions. Hence, many players were not able to see the changes made to the tracker.

Players hope Niantic will make the “Pokemon GO” nearby tracker update available in all regions soon. For the time being, all states and territories in Australia have received the updated along with British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the western half of Ontario in Canada, and all states west of the Mississippi River (except Hawaii and Alaska) in the US.

Apart from the nearby tracker tool, the update has also brought Ditto with it, which is a rather elusive Pokemon. Once players tap on the available Pokemon on the map, such as reported Rattata, Pidgey and Zubat, and catch them, these common Pokemon will all tranform into Ditto. The “Pokemon GO” nearby tracker tool will help players in catching these Pokemon.

The tracker does not say where Ditto is hiding. This makes it tricky as “Pokemon GO” players are frustrated with the Pidgeys, Rattatas and Zubats, as they show up everywhere. Therefore, it may happen that a player catches a handful of them and none of them turn into Dittos. Thus, players need to brace frustration and always be on the lookout.

Now that Niantic has introduced Ditto to players, it’s time it gives a taste of Legendary Pokemon via another “Pokemon GO” update.
