Niantic is reportedly gearing up for a huge “Pokemon GO” update and also an event. It has also hinted at major changes and fixes. It has been revealed that Niantic is planning a special April Fools’ Day event as fans eagerly wait for the Legendaries and Gen 2 Pokemon. Fans believe that the new event will add a ton of Magikarp to the wild. It makes sense for Niantic to help players by making Magikarp more plentiful. This is because Magikarp is not that useful in the Pokemon world. Thus, an abundance of it will go with the April Fools’ Day theme.

According to Express, “Pokemon GO” players should keep an eye on Pokemon Medals. Niantic has helped players before by easing out certain tough factors. In December 2016, the Pikachu medal became very easy to attain when Santa Hat Pikachu became quite common. Another big “Pokemon GO” update is on its way. The update will contain a handy “Pokemon GO” newsfeed that will allow players to keep track of all the new features. The newsfeed will give players up-to-date information and patch notes from any new updates.

The newest “Pokemon GO” update has caused certain problems for Android users. Hence, major fixes are coming to the game. Certain Android users have complained that Android update 0.53.1 causes the game to pause on the Home screen once the loading bar reaches 100 percent. A major Gen 2 update is also expected very soon. Data miners have discovered nearly 40 Gen 2 Pokemon moves. The big “Pokemon GO” update may launch sooner than believed as both iOS and Android users are being asked to update to latest versions.

Whenever Niantic asks users to upgrade to latest OS versions, it means a big “Pokemon GO” update is coming. It could be Gen 2 Pokemon, Pokemon Genders and Shiny Pokemon. Stay tuned on IBTimes Australia for more updates on “Pokemon GO.”
