Activision’s “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5” is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are in the pipeline but it seems that last gen owners could wait a little longer as Activision have put on hold the respective version’s releases.

An Activision representative broke this news to Eurogamer. Not only is the release of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions put on hold, Activision has also not dished out information on the release date.

The delay of the last gen versions is caused by the current issues plaguing the PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360 versions of “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5.” Apparently, Activision wants to focus its attention on fixing everything wrong with the current gen versions of the game. This could also lead to a smoother launch for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.

“We are working closely with our developers to address the issues identified by our community. Our development resources are fully focused on fixes and content updates for PS4 and Xbox One, so we have decided to delay the release of THPS5 on PS3 and X360,” said Activision to Eurogamer.

“Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5” was not well received on launch date. It had several bugs and it also didn’t have the same appeal to fans that its predecessors had. The game also featured an art style that was subjected to negative comments by fans and reviewers alike. Activision could likely be working on turning the tables on the current gen versions of the game.

There are a few differences between the last and previous gen versions of “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5.” The most notable difference is the removal of the online multiplayer mode included in the new-gen versions of the game, Gamespot reports.
