Rumours have been going around that Kate Middleton has been worrying about her sister Pippa Middlton’s future brother-in-law. Reports say that Queen Elizabeth has forbidden Kate and Prince William from attending the upcoming wedding.

International Business Times, citing an article by Life & Style magazine, reports that allegedly, the reason behind the Queen’s ban is Spencer Matthews, the brother of Pippa’s fiancé James Matthews. Spencer is a reality and model had earlier posed in public wearing nothing but nude underwear to promote a new website for the London Fashion Week. His actions have raised some eyebrows from the royal family who avoids embarrassment as much as possible. It is also reported that Kate Middleton was heartbroken when she learned that she cannot attend her sister’s wedding, since her sister expects her to be there when she gets married.

Gossip Cop, however, has debunked these rumours stating that the Queen has not banned anybody from attending Pippa’s wedding. The tabloid claims that the Queen was terribly horrified that she has banned Kate from attending her own sister’s wedding so that further risks of embarrassment would be eliminated. Another dubious source says that the Queen herself phoned Kate and William and yelled at him and told them that they cannot go to the upcoming wedding. Kate allegedly cried at that news when William told her about it but William would rather follow his grandmother.

Had this news been true, that could mean that plans for Kate to be matron of honour and her kids to serve as ring bearer and flower girl will no longer push through. It also states however that Pippa still expects Kate to show up at her wedding. This only points out that the tabloid is playing safe, just in case Kate will be present at the nuptials which is the most likely thing to happen.

The truth, actually, is that Queen Elizabeth would never ban Kate from attending the wedding of her own beloved sister. Whether or not the Grand Duchess would decide to go will have absolutely nothing to do with anything said by the Queen. This just shows how little Life & Style knows about the royal family and it has again proven what it does best; publish false stories about the royal family.
