Former President Barack Obama's chief photographer, Pete Souza, is supposedly trolling US President Donald Trump on social media. Souza’s posts on Instagram appear to be a shade-throwing protest against the new administration.

Souza posts photos on his official Instagram account, which appears to be his way of responding to Trump's actions and policies. Obama's chief photographer has 738,000 followers on the said social media platform.

Amid protests against Trump's executive order on immigration, Souza has shared photos of refugees from a project he shot in Kosovo. Along with the photos, he has shared some of his experiences in photography.

He shared that he has acquired different perspectives that helped him capture moments at the White House. Souza has mentioned that he is aware of news these days concerning refugees. “Although it is admittedly not the same as today, I did for a while document the Kosovo refugee crisis in the late 1990s,” he wrote.

On Jan. 3, Obama's chief photographer posted a photo of his boss in the Oval Office with Alex, the 6-year-old boy who wrote to him about the Syrian boy photographed in an ambulance. "Remember Alex," he wrote.

Alex has visited the former POTUS with his family in the White House last year. "Dear President Obama, Remember the boy who was picked up by the ambulance in Syria? Can you please go get him and bring him to my home,” Alex earlier wrote on his letter to Obama.

He has also mentioned in his letter that he will be waiting for Obama and the “boy who was picked up by the ambulance in Syria” with flags, flowers, and balloons. Alex wished to give the other boy a family and wanted him to be his brother.

Last week, when news about Trump’s phone call with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has erupted, Souza posted a photo of Obama laughing with Turnbull and New Zealand Prime Minister John Key. The photo was taken at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit in September 2016.

In his website (Pete Souza), Souza listed that he is currently a "free agent.” He had also worked for Former US President Ronald Wilson Reagan as Official White House Photographer. His work credits also include being an Assistant Professor of Photojournalism at Ohio University, the national photographer for the Chicago Tribune and a freelancer for National Geographic. He had also worked as a freelancer and as photographer for the Chicago Tribune.
