Pauline Hanson, the leader of One Nation party, tapped the anti-Muslim sentiments among the voters to rise back to power through a Facebook post. The former MP used the social media to appeal to voters to elect her into coming federal elections if they are against the Sharia Law, building of any more Mosques, influx of Muslim refugees and Halal certification.

The Facebook post says “A vote for me at the next Federal Election will be your insurance, the major parties will have absolute opposition to any more Mosques, Sharia Law, Halal Certification & Muslim Refugees. NO MORE!”

The post have found huge support amongst the voters as it has received over 26,000 shares and more than 19,000 likes in just three days.

Hanson is expected to run as a Queensland senate candidate for her party One Nation. She has called for stricter immigration laws for Muslims following the “politically motivated” shootings last week in Parramatta outside NSW Police headquarters.

“Both sides of parliament are not doing enough to address this whole issue,” she told Sunrise. “What Islam stands for is not compatible with our country ... let the Muslim countries take them.”

According to her, Australia is not compatible with the ideas and notions that Islam upholds. She also said to understand what is being taught at Islamic schools and mosques, Australians need to go there and find out for themselves.

Hanson has been lauded by a large number of supporter who have vouched to vote for her in the coming elections.

“You have my vote Pauline. I don’t pay taxes to be shot in my own country,” one of the posts said.

While another showed great support, saying “ Yes, how do we vote for you in all of Australia not just one state?”

Even though the post received great popularity amongst Australians who are not supportive of Islam, there are many who are against the racist idea that is being publicised in the campaign.

“Pauline is racist and disgusting. I have beautiful Muslim friends who have human rights to be here,” wrote Cathy Porter on the post. “We're did all of use come from. She's certainly not a traditional owner of this country either.”

“So Pauline Hanson has shifted her focus from demonising Asian people to demonising Muslim people? It's ridiculous that people still take this xenophobic attention seeking seriously,” said another post.

Hanson is also strictly against special government support for Aborigines, foreign investment in agricultural lands and established housing and also allowing entry to illegal boats.
