Paula Deen has been losing business partners since the racism reports have surfaced. But the former Food Network celebrity chef is still well-supported across social media sites Twitter and Facebook.

On Thursday night, Paula Deen posted a shout-out to solid supporters helping her through a difficult ordeal:

"I want to take another moment to thank the outpouring of support from my family, friends and fans. Your kindness has warmed my heart in a way that words cannot express the last couple of days. Love, Paula."

In 10 hours, the Facebook post has been shared nearly 15 thousand times and 'liked' by over 470 thousand users.

"Where is the outrage? Why do certain people get a pass," asks Facebook user Patti Waddick.

"If you get fired for saying something 30 years ago, surely our President should be fired for smoking something 10 to 20 years ago!!" Facebook user Kelly Owens commented.

Target is among business establishments which has severed ties with Deen.

"We have made a decision to phase out the Paula Deen merchandise in our stores as well as on Target.com," a company rep confirmed in a Fox News report. "Once the merchandise is sold out, we will not be replenishing inventory."

The Food Network, Walmart, the Caesars casino company, and Smithfield have all left Deen, too. Deen has apologized for her past remarks in a tearful apology broadcasted on "Today."

"If there's anyone out there that has never said something that they wish they could take back ... please pick up that stone and throw it so hard at my head that it kills me," she said.
