"Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley took a break from his hectic work schedule to talk about what keeps him busy lately. Aside from portraying character Stefan Salvatore in the CW TV series, the 32-year-old actor shared in an interview his experience directing episode 11 of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, what he thinks of the Stefan-Caroline relationship and his work on other projects.

Actor Paul Wesley joined The Wraps' Rebecca Rosenberg for a "Drinking With The Stars" interview at the Yellow Sunset which was presented by Strongbow Hard Cider. During the interview, the TVD cast member revealed that his co-stars in the CW TV series think he is a much nicer guy when he is the director of an episode.

"I think they prefer me when I'm directing," Wesley shared. The actor explained that it is a collaborative work will all of the actors on the show but he becomes more detailed when it comes to sensing others' emotions when directing an episode.

The Paul Wesley-directed episode titled "Woke Up With a Monster" for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 is scheduled to air on Jan. 22, 2015. As for his character's relationship with Caroline (Candice Accola), Paul Wesley admitted that he loves the slow pace of the two character's relationship.

The actor teased that the "Steroline" relationship still moves on a slow phase in his directed episode. "It's glacial, like molasses, like a snail," Wesley shared.

Paul Wesley further teased that there will be tender and little moments between the two which will make Stefan sometimes wonder if what he feels for Caroline is friendship or love. According to the TVD star and director, Caroline will still continue to have a hard time in episode 11 due to her mom's worsening health condition.

Now that "The Vampire Diaries" is on a long holiday break, Paul Wesley will be busy doing promotions for his other projects. The actor's love story film titled "Amira & Sam" is scheduled to hit movie theaters in January 2015. "It's a tiny little movie," Wesley told The Wrap as he showed a teaser trailer via his iPhone.

Paul Wesley is set to be a producer as well later this 2014 with the film titled "Convergence." The TVD star shared that a successful producer friend of his brought the story of "Convergence" to him.

"I said, 'I'd love to do this with you. Let's produce it together, and I'll be in it.' We raised the money and we are going to shoot it," Wesley confirmed. Paul Wesley's other movie projects include "Before I Disappear" and "Mother's Day."

The TVD fans can watch Paul Wesley as vampire Stefan Salvatore in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 when the CW TV series returns in January 2015 with brand new episodes starting with episode 11 titled "Woke Up With a Monster."
