Socialite and reality TV star Paris Hilton has been spotted checking out engagement rings in New York with boyfriend, club-promoter, Cy Waits.

Citing a report by The New York Post, Access Hollywood said that the couple took their time and had a look at sparkling jewelries at luxury jeweler Jacob & Co. The Post noted that the couple had shown particular interest in a rare 30-carat blue diamond.

But it looks like Hilton is really not into settling down soon enough, contrary to her revelation with The New York Post in an interview at her birthday bash at Lavo on Thursday.

The socialite was quoted by the Post as saying, “We’ve talked about [an engagement],” said Paris.

“This is once in a lifetime,” The Simple Life star added. “I want to be with him forever”.

But forever may not begin soon enough for Paris and Cy because they left the store, without the engagement ring. Instead, Paris left the luxury jewelry store, wearing a $25,000 black diamond-encrusted ring as her gift for her 30th birthday.

Let’s just hope she left the store writing a check for the ring or had her credit card swiped by the clerk. She wouldn’t want to spend years in prison, would she? Her beau, Cy had been stamped by the court of his next court date on August 22, over the three criminal charges filed against him by the Vegas authorities last year.
