When Paris Hilton brought home the US $13,000 Pomeranian over the weekend, she had an emotional reunion with two cats and seven dogs, as her Instagram video shows, according to news.com. Shot through a glass door, the video shows her fond family of seven small dogs jumping, yelling and turning themselves round as she comes. There are two cats seated happily on marble tops and drinking water from the tap.

Her tiny Pomeranian, named Mr Amazing, is only 6 centimetres, or 2.5 inches tall, and weighs 330 grams, though he will become one kilo when he is fully grown. But many are sure that he would have cost her more than any other pet, or even more than all other pets.

Paris Hilton, the reality-star-turned-DJ finished her New York Fashion Week and returned to California. Last week, she turned a lot of heads and hearts in New York's fashion show. It was interesting and trendy. However, she put up an instagram video that was not about fashion, but just wholesome puppy love.

Watch him on Instagram captioned "Just ordered this aaa." The tiny Pomeranian stares with small, glittering eyes.

The five-month-old pup has been bought from Canadian canine breeder, Joanne Pauze, and Betty's Teacup Yorkies, in Calgary. The male puppy was handed over at the Bowery Hotel in New York last Friday. "He's really quiet and extremely loving," said Pauze, the breeder. He is a great lap dog that "loves to be groomed and wear clothes."

All of last week Paris has been announcing her dog over the social media, calling him "my new baby". She called out for a new name: "Does anyone have anymore [sic] name suggestions for my precious lil angel baby?" she asks.

The call instantly brought a number of comments from her "fans". One reader wrote: "Who cares how this miserable waste of flesh spends money she did not earn? She's the best argument for confiscatory taxation that anyone could come up with." Another said: "Looking at the picture, I'm not buying that this dog is 2.5 inches tall..."

But now Hilton seems to have told TMZ that she has changed his name, though it is still a secret.

Paris doesn't have a good track record of taking care of pets. One cat called Prada was taken back by the Kris Kelly Foundation when she did not neuter him for six months after purchase. She took him to a vet, but forgot him there for a week!
