Reigning Formula One, or F1, world champion Lewis Hamilton was among the celebrities who sat front row at Stella McCartney’s Spring/Summer Collection 2016 during the Paris Fashion Week. After the show, Hamilton posed for a picture with McCartney and shared a snap to his followers on social media.

“With the brilliant @StellaMcCartney at her show, #PFW #OutHere #Paris,” Hamilton captioned the photo. “A pleasure hanging with these extremely talented women! @MIAuniverse @stellamccartney @janellemonae @sukiwaterhouse,” he captioned another photo.

Hamilton came in at pole position at the Stella McCartney’s Paris Fashion Week show. This is in contrast to the report by TMZ claiming that the F1 star was rejected after coming in late for the show. The 30-year-old British race car driver donned a grey coat with a jumper, black jeans and a pair of black boots for the occasion held at Palais Garnier.

Joining Hamilton in the front row was five-time grand slam tennis champion Maria Sharapova, who looked simple yet stunning in a plunging black gown decorated with embellished images of horses on the bottom. Sharapova also posted a picture with McCartney and Hamilton on Twitter. Other celebrities at the event included Rhys Ifans, Salma Hayek, Angela Lindvall, Marina Hands and Caroline de Maigret.

After claiming his 41st career race win equalling Brazilian icon Ayrton Senna’s record, Hamilton is heading to Sochi for the 15th race of the 2015 F1 season. He is looking to win his ninth Grand Prix this year. Hamilton is also looking to become the first British driver to win back-to-back world championships.

Meanwhile, Paris Fashion Week runs until Oct. 7 where designers Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Valentino will also unveil their latest collection. For pictures from Stella McCartney’s show, visit Vogue.com.
