A tribute by a woman to her boyfriend who was shot down in Paris by ISIS gunmen has gone viral over the Internet. Polina Buckley took to Twitter to post a photograph with her boyfriend Nick Alexander. She strongly condemned the attacks with the photo caption, "You are and always will be the love of my life, Nick Alexander." She expressed the outrage towards terrorism in a very strong language.

Alexander, 36, was originally a resident of Colchester, England and was present at the Bataclan theatre to sell merchandise for Californian band Eagles of Death Metal, when he fell prey to the attacks. The terrorists entered the concert venue that was packed with audience and opened fire on them. Alexander was one of the 80 people who was killed at the concert venue.

According to the Mirror, Alexander scwas at the venue with his ex-girlfriend Helen Wilson, who is an American expatriate. She has been hospitalised after suffering injuries on both of her legs in the attack. She narrated the horrific incident to The Telegraph and also talked about Alexander’s final moments at the nightclub.

“Nick was shot in front of me. His back was to me and I couldn’t see what happened and I tried to keep him talking and then I tried to give him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and they [the gunmen] were just sort of in the shadows and they would shoot if anyone said anything,” Wilson revealed. She added that he could not breathe anymore even after that.

The 49-year-old New Orleans resident revealed to the website that the wheelchair bound people at the concert were the primary target of the terrorists. The official statement released by the Foreign and Commonwealth office on behalf of the family stated, "Nick died doing the job he loved and we take great comfort in knowing how much he was cherished by his friends around the world. Thank you for your thoughts and respect for our family at this difficult time. Peace and light.”

Paris came under the attacks conducted by ISIS on Friday evening at several prime locations of the city including Stade de France, Petit Cambodge restaurant and Bataclan theatre.
