Pamela Anderson celebrated getting cured from Hepatitis C in a not-so-conventional way. The “Baywatch” actress stripped naked and shared the photo for her fans to see on social media.

Anderson proved to her 149,000 Instagram followers that she is totally happy being rid of Hepatitis C. The 49-year-old shared a photo of her naked self to celebrate her recovery.

In the photo, Anderson is lounging in her birthday suit on a white sofa. She had her legs lifted halfway up to her chest. The actress also has her right arm over her chest and her right palm covering what’s left of her modesty.

“I am CURED!!! - I just found out #nomorehepc #thankyou #blessing #family #prayer #live I pray anyone living with Hep C can qualify or afford treatment. It will be more available soon. I know treatment is hard to get stillAnderson captioned the shot,” she captioned the photo.

Anderson also encouraged other people who are suffering from Hepatitis C to not lose hope. She added the hashtags #dontlosehope, #thereisacure and #americanliverfoundation to her Instagram photo.

Her photo has since received over 5,000 likes since she posted it on Nov. 7. Fans also congratulated the actress on her Hepatitis C recovery. One Instagram user named liztew wrote, “Just caught your story on @BTtoronto. This must be such a relief! I'm very happy for you.” Another fan named annichenskaren@pamelaanderson also expressed her happiness for Anderson and wrote,” So happy for you ! Living with illness is the hardest of all.”

The actress previously talked about her expectations to finally be cured of the deadly virus during an interview on “Watch What Happens Live” in September (via US Weekly). Anderson revealed then that she’s been taking medication and that she’s expecting to recover from Hepatitis C in November.

"I am almost half way through and by November 1 I should be cured - a 98 per cent chance,” she said.

Anderson has reportedly been battling the deadly virus, which can cause cirrhosis, for 16 years. She once said in a 2002 interview with People that suffering from Hepatitis C felt like a “death sentence.” She said the disease was like a “dark cloud” that lingered over her and that it really affected her self-esteem.
