"Overwatch" Competitive Play season 2 Facebook/Overwatch

Hollywood actor Terry Crews has been teasing players that he will be voicing Doomfist in “Overwatch.” Doomfist was previously speculated as one of the upcoming characters in the game before Blizzard finally confirmed Orisa. Although Crews has uploaded a live video providing details about a major update at E3, Blizzard has yet to confirm anything.

Crews uploaded a 15-minute Facebook video showing the PC he is currently building. Aside from his gaming rig, he also gave a glimpse of upcoming projects and a quick tour around his office. The thing that caught the attention of viewers is his mention of the E3 2017.

The Hollywood actor did not specifically mention in the Facebook video that it will be Overwatch-related but after he saw Doomfist-related comments made by fans, he laughed and said, “You all know what it is.” He further gave fans the idea when he is seen starting the game itself on the PC. His previous streams of Overwatch while on caffeine and his stops in Blizzard’s office also indicate his involvement with the game.

Blizzard has not yet confirmed Crews’ involvement, and it is likely to stay that way for a long time since E3 2017 is still a few months away. The event will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in June. For now, players have to settle for the latest Competitive Play season and the new PvE Uprising event, which will have two new game modes.

‘Overwatch’ Uprising Event

The new Uprising event has introduced a new four-player co-op PvE game mode where gamers choose between Mercy, Reinhardt, Torbjorn, or Tracer. It takes place at the King’s Row map.

In an interview, Blizzard previously stated that the next hero in “Overwatch” is still far in development. This most likely indicates that they will announce or release the next playable character after Orisa during E3 2017.

The only hint Blizzard gave about the character is that it may not be a defense hero. Blizzard previously teased Doomfist in its previous updates, the latest one included with the introduction of Orisa.
