During the first day of Apple Watch delivery 23rd April, the company drastically increased the number of apps, on the App Store, from 1000 to 3000. After two weeks of pre-ordering phase, the Smartwatch reached the customers hands in 38 unique combinations, along with 1000s of productive apps. Smartwatch is the first gadget, under Tim Cook’s headship and with 3000 apps on the app store, it is sure to pursue the image of the Apple, as the innovative game changer.

CNET opines that with the flooding apps, the Apple outstretched beyond its Smartphone market and at the same time, drastically increase the iPhone sales, because the app collection is built around family, health, fitness, travel, communications, work, creativity, entertainment, education, shopping and what not and they can be used in iPhones as well. AppFigures, an analytics company, estimates more than 100,000 iOS apps release, by the end of next year.

The Apple watch is not the new concept rather we have Pebble, Samsung and Sony’s Smartwatch, yet without the mass market.

If Apple does not explain the reason for using the Smartwatch, it may not reach a mass of customers, as the initial fame fades away easily. Remember, the Apple’s other flagships like the iPhone and the iPad tablets did explode in the market not just with the branded name ‘the Apple’ rather the Apple allowed third-party app developers to create millions of apps to enhance the devices. The Apple has officially recorded around $25 billion of earnings of the App Store developers, since the initiation of the store, to perk up the sale of iPhones.

The Apple simplifies the Smartwatch to the common people by propagating the daily usage of the watch, in hiring an Uber; booking tickets in JetBlue flight or American Airlines; turning of the Lutron powered lights at home; checking the bank balance; reading Twitter feeds; learning a new language; paying through Apple Pay; monitoring fitness; replying the mail and messages; listing to music and controlling Apple TV.

The Apple relies on the app developers

Apple Watch may be on the scratch, but it is sure to succeed in the long run, with innovative apps featured in the App Store. Browse through the App store; download the most excited apps; and leave your comments here.
