The producers of "Outlander" have released a new trailer with the title "Love forces a person to choose." The focus of the trailer is about the consequences of Claire's choice, on Jamie Fraser. The cast of the TV series spoke about the upcoming part of the season at the Television Critics Association's semi-annual meeting.

The new trailer begins by showing some of the most important scenes from the episodes that have aired so far. Claire touching the magic stones at Craigh na Dun and some of the important events in 1740s Scotland are shown in the trailer. The last scene of the mid-season finale of Jamie showing up with a gun to stop Jack Randall also features in the trailer.

The focus of "Outlander" this time around will be more on Jamie Fraser. Murtagh Fraser, who was always by Jamie's side, can be seen saying that Claire does not understand what she has cost them. She's seen having a drink with an Englishman. Jamie is clearly disappointed with Claire and has an emotional conversation with his new wife. His words also make Claire become emotional.

More trouble is expected for Claire with Geillis Duncan accusing her of lying. Claire has also seen getting locked up while Jamie protests. She can later be seen going on a search for Jamie and saying that she would never give up on him.

One character that was missing in the trailer was Frank Randall from the future. According to a report by TVLine, the cast and crew confirmed that the character will not be seen in the next part of the upcoming season and will only reappear in "Outlander" Season 2.

The cast and crew were speaking at the Television Critics Association's press tour in Pasadena. Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie in "Outlander," reportedly said that his character will appear "a lot less idealistic" in the upcoming part of the season. The viewers will get to see Jamie's "stubborn side and his pride."

The first episode of the next part of "Outlander" will reportedly be told from Jamie's point of view. So far the fans of the franchise have only been seeing the show from Claire's point of view. The cast and crew will reportedly begin filming for season 2 in the spring.
