The gag reel of the first season of the popular “Outlander” TV series has been released online. The video shows cast member Caitriona Balfe laughing while filming an intimate scene with her fellow cast member Sam Heughan.

The video posted on the YouTube channel of Sony Entertainment Pictures shows Balfe apologising to Heughan after laughing. The actress was lying on the bed and was supposed to be filming an intense seen with her fellow cast member.

Some of the other funny moments on the set where also captured on camera and can be seen in this video. Grant O’Rourke (Rupert MacKenzie) became a little uncomfortable when one of the animals got too close to him while filming a scene. The actor was wearing a kilt when the animal got too close.

The other cast members who can be seen in the video include Graham McTavish (Dougal MacKenzie), Stephen Walters (Angus Mhor), Duncan Lacroix (Murtagh Fraser), Annette Badland (Mrs. Fitzgibbons) and Simon Callow (Duke of Sandringham). The video also includes the cameo appearance of executive producer Ronald D. Moore and the author of the “Outlander” book series Diana Gabaldon.

The video is part of Bly-ray of the popular TV series, which will also include many of the deleted scenes of the show. One of the deleted scenes that surfaced online shows the grand welcome Jamie and Claire received when they returned to Castle Leoch.

The video posted on YouTube shows Jamie and Claire struggling to find a balance in their relationship. While Claire has more modern views on the role of women in society, Jamie feels obligated to keep his wife in line; at least in front of the others.

The scene shows Claire running into the castle, as she is hungry after the long journey, and Jamie has to chase after her. The couple get a grand reception from everyone at Castle Leoch as they enter the main hall.

Jamie and Claire will be travelling to France in the next season of the “Outlander” TV series. Filming of the next season is currently ongoing and the show is expected to premiere in March or April of 2016.
